Version 1.0 - 2001-07-20 (DL)

        Improved the anchoring point to 0eV and 30keV. 
        The new knowledge of the pattern ratios and better estimates of overall
        QE are ingested to provide a better match to the arfgen generation
        to the supplied instrument matrices. Note there are still problems at
        energies <500eV that will need o be fixed by workin in PHA space and 
        not PI domain
        
Version 0.8 - 2000-10-31 (DL)

        The interpolation regime was not workin properly on version 0.7. Traced
        to a lack of anchoring points at low and high energies.
        
Version 0.7 - 2000-09-18 (DL)

        The ratio of singles ; doubles is updated according to an energy 
        dependent expression provided by Frank Haberl. However this is only
        valid for on-axis, as there is an energy dependence of thresholds due 
        to CTI effects which will modify the off-axis sources.
Version 0.6 - 2000-09-18 (DL)

        The REGION expression was being truncated, and upset the CAL.
        Now the string expression is read into a 128 character long field

        +Having examined in-orbit data it is clear that the ratio of singles to
        doubles events is incorrect. As the spectroscopic fitting of data
        relies only on singles the whole ARF generation will be wrong. The QE 
        files therefore have  been updated. Some furtehr modifications
        will no dount be needed subject to inputs from MPE analysis.
